Character Details
-Ororo Munroe is born in Manhattan to N'Dere and David Munroe. Her family line is that of African Priestess that share the traits of white hair and blue eyes that are said to have magical powers. It is more believed that they were mutants.
-From Manhattan her parents moved themselves and an infant Ororo to Egypt for her father's work in Archaeology.
-Fear of the Arab-Israeli conflict drover her parents and five-year old Ororo to try to flee. This resulted in a plane crash. Both her parents died and Ororo was trapped in the ruins of the plane, resulting in a very long lasting claustrophobia.
-The streets of Cairo were cruel and Ororo was forced to fall in with Achmed El-Gibar (The Shadow King) who trained her in the art of thievery. She stole and gave all her spoils to him in return for a place to sleep and food to eat.
-It was her talent of pick pocketing that lead her to Charles Xavier's pocket, making Charles aware of the Shadow King and an astral battle ensued resulting in the defeat of the Shadow King. Ororo, as well as the other children under Achmed El-Gibar's influence were freed.
-With no where to go, Ororo decided to return to her ancestral home in Kenya. A man offering her a ride tried to force himself on her and Ororo defended herself, but killed him in the process. Disgusted with her own actions, she swore never to take another's life again.
-She was left to cross the Sahara on foot and nearly died of dehydration. Here is where she learns of her powers over the weather. Making it rain to sustain herself.
-Her powers would help her offer respite to the Kenyan plains and her people. Becoming their Goddess as in times of drought and poor harvest. Revered and loved, she fulfills her ancestral heritage as those before her have.
-Charles Xavier comes for Ororo in time of need, to help the newly formed X-Men. Telling Ororo that she is not a Goddess but a Mutant and tells her of the good she can do for the world rather than just the Kenyan Plains. She agrees and moves to America, spending years with the X-Men.
-The loss of Charles Xavier is too much and her ancestral home called to her once more. Leaving for the plains, she once more takes up her role as their Goddess.
-The Shadow King, having broken free, seeks her out and manipulates Storm into using her power to destroy the thing she loves the most. Her home.
-With the insight from future Charles, Wolverine and those few X-Men gathered, go to Africa to stop Storm from destroying the whole of the continent. Emma Frost aids in destruction of the Shadow King and Ororo returns to the X-Men.
-Recent event returned Storm to Africa, though she is now currently returned to Westchester.
