Sally Blevins was born in Los Angeles California in 1987 to Matilda.
Her mother lives with and eventually marries Bill Blevins.
Bill, though Sally's childhood is abusive to her and her mother.
He kills her mother and begins to beat on her. The blows land on a force-field granted to her by her mutation.
She runs away that night.
Traveling in rail cars and along the tracks at night, she finds herself in New York and is taken in by the Morlocs.
While on the surface, she meet Rusty Collins, being hunted by Freedom Force.
Freedom Force is attacked by a crowd of humans.
During the attack, X-Factor takes in Sally and Rusty and begins to train them in the use and control of their powers.
During her training, a Demon attacks, kidnaps and was going to use children to open a portal to Limbo.
With Rusty, her other trainees, and the new Mutants, the demon is stopped, the children are returned home.
Sally and Rusty are attacked by Freedom Force once more, and lose.
They escape custody to stop a pair of villains, but are promptly recaptured.
They accept help from the Mutant Liberation Front, and are promptly brainwashed into following
Stryfe, and further train under him and along with his team.
Kind: She's a very kind person, willing to give of herself to help someone out and treat others with kindness and gentleness. Though it isn't to say she treats anyone this way, those who cross her, cross her.
Mutant Suprmacist: Sally does not see many redeeming qualities in humanity, seeing mutant kind as the better of the two. While not aggressively so, she does see mutant-kind as the dominant and better of the two major races on the planet.
Caring: She cares greatly, mainly for children and will not stand for harm to come to them, and will put herself in harms way to see that none come to harm if she's able.
Intelligent: She's smart too, namely as a means to please others by getting good grades and studying quite a lot.
Sensitive: She is quite sensitive to the feelings and moods of others around her, living and breathing praise and acceptance, while also taking to heart most anything that is thrown her way. Not able to take or even sense sarcasm, taking such things at face value rather than a joke.
FORCE FIELD: Sally can create a force field about her body (and with concentration extend it an area of 30 cubic feet, though this is a strain on her). While up, she cannot be held, and reflects kinetic energy off of it's self, and even negates friction, meaning that she cannot be held while it is in effect. Should a force of impact greater than her mass impact the shield, it will propel her in the direction from which it was applied, and will shatter at the application of a 100 ton force. Secondarily, due the frictionless nature of the force field, she can 'skate' or travel at speeds faster than a normal person can run (30 mph max). Manuevering and starting to move from a prone position, is easier and done simply by shifting of her body and weight in one direction or another, much like someone ice skating would.
SKATING: Sally has learned how to skate, on both a skateboard and rollerblade, and can do such with a bit of style and even several tricks, and while not a novice, she is not up to par with people who actually compete.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Sally has taken an interest in, and started learning about Photography, it is more a hobby than anything else and still very much a novice, but has some skill in getting a good shot here there, but the regular and bad shots far outweigh the good.
AIKIDO: Sally has learned the beginnings and basics of Aikido, a self defense art used to redirect an opponents energy against them, instead of for them. She is at a point that most of the more basic moves and holds come easily to her.
XAVIERS: Sally is a recent recruit to the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.
BLEVINS ESTATE: Due to the circumstances of her mother's death and the incarceration of her father, all property pertaining to her step-father and mother has been transferred into a trust for Sally of which she receives a small stipend from. It is not a large amount but it is something to help her.
CO-DEPENDENT: Due to her home life, she has development a codependency on others. Manifesting itself in her by placing her self esteem and image by the approval of her peers, and even going so far as to ignore her own opinions and feelings and rely on what others express as what is right.
EMOTIONALLY FRAGILE: She's very maleable. Her emotions are wild and erratic, and are displayed not by what she feels, but by what is shown to be expected of her by her peers. She's easily open to the influence of others, to show her what is right and wrong.
ABUSED: Sally is a survivor (so far) of emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her step-father, and watching him kill her mother.
