Character Details
-Rogue is born in Caldecott County, MS. She was born to Owen and Priscilla at a rather hippie commune. Something goes awry, and her mother dies. Owen recruits her Aunt Carrie to come help raise the little girl already known as Rogue.
-Aunt Carrie is strict, sometimes to the point of abusive, which leads Rogue to run away. It's shortly after this that she's found and taken in by Mystique and Destiny.
-Rogue has some happy years, not manifesting until her first kiss which leaves the boy, Cody, in a coma (eventually passing away some years later). Mystique and Destiny try to train her in the use of her new powers, but don't have much success. Mystique also starts training Rogue in the ways of the Brotherhood, which is a little more successful.
-Rogue overhears about a fight Destiny has foreseen, and brings it to fruition, absorbing Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) fully in the process. While it gained her the ability to fly, as well as super strength, durability, and a seventh sense (Which she never developed).
-Unfortunately, it was this addition to her psychie that started to weigh on her. After several run ins with the X-men, the things absorbed from Carol drove Rogue to beg Xavier for help when she realized Mystique could not help her. Untrusted by her teammates, some more than others, until she risked herself to save Wolverine's lover.
-Rogue, once captured and rendered powerless in Genosha, suffered torments from the psychic residue of the people she had absorbed over time. It was the Carol Danvers personality that rose to the fore and took over, protecting Rogue and helping her escape.
-After this, the two personalities shared a body, until the Siege Perilous tried to seperate them. There wasn't enough life force to sustain them both, but before Rogue could surrender, Magneto stepped in and knocked them both out. When Rogue awoke, she had been restored, with Carol's powers, but not the personality.
-Shortly after that, Rogue, the X-men and others freed the people of Muir Island and defeated the Shadow King (At least for now).
