History

Virginia Anne Potts is born in a small town in New Hampshire to Hank and Patricia Potts.
Virginia has a fairly typical childhood and good grades in school.
Upon her graduation of high school, Virginia is accepted into University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
Virginia receives her bachelor's degree in Applied Business and gets her first job at Stark Industries as a secretary.
Here, she's given her nickname 'Pepper' by her co-workers due to her freckles and the name has stuck to present.
Pepper notes an accounting mistake on a document and that fix is brought to the attention of the man responsible, Tony Stark.
Pepper is promoted to Executive Assistant and quickly becomes irreplaceable to Tony Stark as her natural aptitude for business comes close to rivaling his own.
Pepper develops feeling for Tony Stark, though keeps them to herself and rebukes Happy Hogan's own advances as he had feelings for Pepper.
Pepper, still unaware that Tony Stark is Iron Man, continues her work as his assistant to this day.
