Arrogant - The most accurate and best description for Doctor Doom is the word arrogant. He acts uppity and regal, as if he is above many acts. He creates robots and hires servants to conduct menial jobs in other to retain prominence over others. He never does anything that doesn't make him look better or give him more power. Even the way he speaks, sometimes speaking of himself in the third person and with elaborate verbage, shows his arrogant superiority complex.
Regal - Doctor Doom likes to think he is a smart, regal man. Doctor Doom has invented his own morals, his own eccentric way of acting, even has his own dominating morachy because he wants to feel regal. He wants to have whatever it takes to be a powerful man. Doom even constructed his own elaborate castle in his own little country and built up the town, so the people could worship their royalty properly.
Self-centered - Without using too many adjectives to describe Doom's arrogance, his self-centered motivations need explanation. Besides feeling himself above others, Doctor Doom will do whatever it takes to return a grudge and never forgets a slight. Doom talks down to people because he's an egotist. He would never run from a fight because he'd look bad, so he usually has to make up some silly reason to get out of the conflict. He cannot find enough reasons to hate Reed Richards and goes without sleep trying to find a way to prove himself smarter than the man.
Confident - Got to give it to Doctor Doom, he believes he will succeed even with the most ridiculously complex plot. This goes back to his arrogant, self-centered motivations, where he feels he can succeed even in the face of some of the most successful heroes on the planet. The thing about this attitude is that he really backs it up, coming up with some diabolical hum-dingers, whapping heroes left and right with his confidence. He knows he really is strong and that's probably why he remains the best ruler and intellectual men there is alive. At least in his own head.
Intelligent - He is confident with ridiculously complex plots because he is intelligent. Time travel is nothing to Doctor Doom, he's that intelligent. The way he speaks illustrates his intelligence and the way he conducts himself shows it. He doesn't hide it, he shows it. In fact, he wants to show it because he's an arrogant jerk.
Amoral - Even though he says he has the morals of the oldest kings, Doctor Doom will rip the head off a chicken if it will make him look smarter. He'll make it two chickens if he looks smarter than Reed Richards. Doom will make deals with demons, whap women, plot against his own family, and other heinous deeds. He won't think twice about the morality of his plots because in his mind, it is justified.
Power-Hungry - Nobody has more power-hungry poses on comic covers than Doctor Doom. He holds the record for threatening gazes and powerful stances. He threatens even his allies and crushes people without a second thought. Doctor Doom can't really be trusted, but speaks like he can. He is two-faced and has only one thing in mind: himself.
Honor - In a twisted sense of honor, Doctor Doom believes that if he were ruler of the world, it would be a better place. Why fight Doom? He only wants peace. It's a better world when everyone follows what Doctor Doom teaches, isn't it? He doesn't lie, if you don't count confidence in yourself as lying. He usually keeps his word too, despite his arrogant attitude about it.
WITCHCRAFT: Doctor Doom and his mother are witches. He does not like the label, but using his mother's power books, he can affect the world around him or manipulate it in a beneficial way. Most commonly, Doctor Doom has explored witchcraft for the purposes of trying to save his mother's soul from Mephisto. As such, he can dimensional travel using witchcraft powers and teleport to Mephisto's realm and back. This can also relate to hypnotism or other harmful powers, such as mind transferral.
MIND TRANSFERRAL: Doom has the ability to transfer his mind to another body, much like the Red Skull does so infamously. He can switch bodies or dominate the target's mind with his mental presence, which usually overwhelms the personality of the target, placing him firmly in charge. The Ovoids rescued Doctor Doom with their powerful telepathic powers and taught Doctor Doom this unusal power when he was lost in the cosmos for a brief time.
RITUAL MYSTICISM: Doctor Doom can prepare rituals, which provide him an assortment of magic powers. These rituals are usually long and labor intensive, mostly because of their requirements and precision. To begin with, rituals usually require a special location to amplify the strength of the spell, so the basement or bathroom will not do. Next, Doom's ritual magic usually requires something tangible to be used, such as reagents, charms, books, or other items. Last, Doctor Doom's rituals usually require words like those spoken by Doctor Strange or some sort of textual guide, such as his mother's detailed books of witchcraft. Using rituals, Doctor Doom has an opportunity for assortment of powers, such as summoning something, minor resistances, immunities, divination, mystic stamina, or others. Sometimes these are saved onto artifacts or charms.
BOLTS: Doctor Doom can summon up mystic bolts on the fly and whip them at unsuspecting superheroes. These small lances of kinetic power are comparable to those employed by the Scarlet Witch, which can physically damage objects or people. The mystical damage the spell does is more powerful than his armor blasts, which is why he dares employ it in the first place. It can vaporize rock and whap with superior intensity. He can't use it over and over however, because of the danger to his person. If he uses it more than once a day, he can cause physical damage to himself.
HYPER-INVENTION: A skill or power that goes beyond simple invention, Doctor Doom can build or invent a diabolical device that cannot be defined by simple science. In fact, some weapons, devices, vehicles, or items produced in conjunction with hyper-invention are more powerful, weird, and original than any other. The precise construction used in the construction of these things is so radical that many cannot possibly fail by normal means. This precision may account for their rareness however. Many of these things are monstrously huge and used for the entrapment of groups of people, or to put evil traps into practice. For example, the Neutromanipulizilator Room employs a series of special gasses and energies to nullify a superhero's powers for a short time. Things like plasma firing flying saucers, the hyper piano weapon, human encasing silly string, and gravity defying laboratories may be attributed to hyper-invention.
SORCERY: Doctor Doom is skilled in knowledge of mysticism and in its practice too. He has a great library of magical artifacts to amplify his power and to use in his arrogant plots, the most common use of magic by Doctor Doom. He has about as much knowledge of magic as anyone on the planet, even the greatest sorcerers. This magic can often take days or weeks to prepare and cast, which are often spells with requirements. These requirements may be reagents, special artifacts, or other items, which may need finding amongst his personal library or elsewhere in the world, which creates a rareness that limits the use of spells. Doctor Doom has knowledge of ritual magic, minor voodoo, curses, divination, summoning, magic travel, and other powers found within his books. His most treasured book is his mother's books with details of witchcraft.
INVENTOR: Doctor Doom is a skilled inventor, of mechanical devices and scientific equipment, much like Reed Richards. He invents complex devices and many weapons to use against superheroes.
SCIENTIST: Doctor Doom is a great scientist, having studied it since he was a child. He uses it to warp reality and gain more power, trying to unlock all its secrets, not better mankind like Reed Richards. He understands complex equasions and can recognize many chemicals, solutions, formulas, on sight. He can work with nuclear power and has experience working with genetics too.
LANGUAGES: Doctor Doom has knowledge of many languages across the world, including most European languages. He has native skill with his home language of Latverian, as well as the neighboring languages of Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Romany, and German. As a traditional student, Doom has skill with assorted other languages, such as English, and the romantic languages.
PILOT: Doctor Doom is an exceptional pilot, for he wouldn't be able to say he can do it all without this skill. He can fly jets, planes, boats, and other small craft with professional skill.
WEAPONS: Doctor Doom can design some of the most diabolical weapons around. He has equipped his own country and designed his own weapons for his armor.
TACTICS: Scheming is like second nature to Doctor Doom. He may even have whole rooms devoted to plots against his enemies. In practice, Doctor Doom has knowledge of guerilla warfare and military strategy, but mostly tries to bowl everyone over with power. But he has read all the books, even the long ones written by Patton, because he's an arrogant jerk.
DICTATOR: Doom commands you read the rest of these skills. Or else. Doctor Doom is more overbearing than anybody in the history of dictators. He commands everyone and leads them with great confidence and power. He apparently knows how to govern a country and has the confidence to control many parts of the government himself.
ENGINEER: Doctor Doom has exceptional knowledge of robotics and mechanics. He can make lifelike robots, even Doombots that can imitate himself. His skill with mechanics can help him construct things, such as the weapons he uses in his diabolical plots. He has the skill to use his planning to construct more elaborate devices, buildings, vehicles, or other things. He can build or repair more sets of armor.
PLANNING: Doctor Doom really isn't all that powerful or threatening compared to some other major threats in the universe, but what really makes him dangerous is that he is one of the most intelligent planners on the entire planet. His plans are unmatched and usually take into account any contingancy. He's never been kept down for long and people still whine about his ability to anticipate danger. He doesn't mind taking on any challenge, because he has weapons, traps, holographs, crazy devices, technology and complicated twists of the plot.
ARMOR:
-Doctor Doom's titanium armor augments his strength to extrodinary superhuman levels.
-Doom can lift/press 2-4 tons
-The armor is completely self-supporting, with oxygen, water, intravenus food, human recycling waste collector, and its own temperature regulating systems, so melting it or overheating it is impossible
Life-support can last four weeks.
-The metal is treated to be resistant to extreme damage and heat.
-Metals has been blessed and modified by magic, creating amazing abilities and other feats.
-Can emit up to one-million volts across its surface to prevent people from touching it, stunning even powerful superheroes.
-Powered by nuclear reactor
-Has wireless global communications and video capabilities
-Can fly 200mph with twin jetpacks
-Concussive bolts of kinetic force can be fired, able to vaporize solid stone or volcanic rock. Even things harder are damaged.
-Mask has HUD, infrared sensors, scanners, optical scopes, computers, night vision, and other superhuman detectors
-Hearing protection prevents damage and amplifies detecting where necessary
-Armor encased for underwater or limited space travel
-Personal forcefield can protect Doom from intense attack, making him able to survive full hits from Thor or The Thing for a short time.
-Can fire tractor beam, repulsor ray, plasma beam, mini-missiles or other weapons
-Several armor designs have unique weapons or devices.
DOOMBOTS: These robots are programmed to act and talk like Doctor Doom. They have all the same weapons, armor, and capabilities. All robots have a complex AI, but possess a restrictor program that limits their effectiveness in Doctor Doom's presence or whenever he wishes it.
LATVERIA: Latveria is a small European country located in the Balkans, near Hungry. Its capital is Doomstadt and its military, economy, and virtually other aspect of the country is led by Doctor Doom. The country is nearly surrounded by mountains, so it cannot be reached easily. However, it is a small country with one airport and technology employed by Doom. It is nearly totally loyal to Doctor Doom and would probably not accept any other leadership or anyone speaking against Doom, perhaps out of fear. Doombots patrol the country, mostly the capital, and enforce the law.
CASTLE DOOM: Doctor Doom's headquarters overlooks the capital city, Doomstadt. It has a hangar, large equipment storage, many labs, an extensive undergound prison, a robot factory, surveillance and video room, dozens of bedrooms, and plasma defenses. The building has a nuclear reactor like his armor, houses 200 staff, but most are robots. Plus it has an art gallery and museum so it can't be all bad.
VILLA: Doctor Doom owns a villa in upper New York, an isolated home on a golf course. It has the surveillance and video capabilities of Castle Doom, but is limited in other areas.
TECHNOLOGY: Doctor Doom has or can develop many, many technologies. The list that has been available has been very extensive, from technology on his many suits of armor, to personal weapons, larger diabolical weapons, robots, menacing vehicles, forcefields, energy rays or scientific devices he has created. Doom has many unexpected and unique technologies.
MAGIC ARTIFACTS: Doctor Doom has a library of collectibles he has amassed from travelling the world. He has a mass of books on all sorts of things, even cryptic subjects like mysticism. His collection of magic artifacts is usual and unique, each one having unique properties like those items owned by Doctor Strange. This augment his limited magic ability and provide an edge against challenging threats.
EMBASSIES: Doctor Doom has established Latverian embassies in many countries, giving him tremendous access and diplomatic power. As monarch of the country of Latveria, he has negotiated diplomatic immunity in countries where he has an embassy, including the United States. Many of the leaders and government officials are contacts of his because of his status as monarch. The embassies are usually brownstone or commercial buildings with many offices and resources.
INTELLIGENCE: What makes Doctor Doom unique is his intelligence and his ability to challenge superior odds, entire teams, horribly powerful entities, and difficult problems and somehow look prepared. He matches wits with smart men like Reed Richards often and doesn't sweat it. Doom is smart, well-prepared, inventive, uses unique technology, manipulates science, and friggin messes with the human mind.
DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY: Doctor Doom has great diplomatic power across the globe, as a ruler of a sovereign country and consulate general to Latveria. He has diplomatic immunity in the United States and attacking him is a crime against international law. Recognized by the international court, Latverian embassies establish this power throughout the world and safeguard the staff and the consul, Doctor Doom. It is important then to keep up the reputation of Latveria then, as lesser countries may not recognize this authority.
PRIDE: Doctor Doom cannot ever be a failure or he feels embarrassed. He avoids the subject of past tragedies and failures, even makes up stories to explain away these things. The reason he wears a mask has many explanations, but only pride can explain why he hides his appearance. He never shows anyone his face and keeps his appearance under wraps because of pride. In fact, some rumors say that Doctor Doom may not even be scarred or deformed in any way, but the explosion that embarrassed him was too much for him to handle.
POSSESSIVE: Doctor Doom is overbearing and single-minded. Whenever he puts his mind to something, Doctor Doom doesn't often change it. He has to control everything and everyone, or at least have his finger in everything. Doom's way is best, after all. He collects a lot of things and studies many things in an overly extensive way. He has the best of everything.
EGOTIST: Doctor Doom really does think he will succeed at all his plots and he really does think everyone is beneath him. This leaves him open to tremendous conflicts, such as Thor walking in to whap him upside the head for being such a jerk. This doesn't leave him with a confidence problem though, but a challenge he might not be able to overcome. He might have to make tremendous excuses for his failures. In his opinion, Doom should just be named dictator of Earth, so we can finally do things the correct way.
REED RICHARDS: There's nobody, and I mean nobody, that Doctor Doom hates more than Reed Richards. But it's not like he can walk over and stab the guy, oh no. Doom wants to prove himself smarter than Reed Richards, superior to him, more than a man than him, and it goes on and on. Doctor Doom can't get enough of angsting over how to out-think or outwit Reed Richards. If Reed Richards had a dog, Doom would kick it. He wants to make Reed Richards suffer the defeat of a thousand humiliating failures.
