History

• Dakota North, daughter of CIA operative Samuel "SJ" North, wanted to be a private detective from a young age.

• After college, training (motorcycles, kung fu, guns) and a brief but memorable stint as a fashion model, she opened the first office of North Investigations in New York City.

• Her "model turned PI" gimmick combined with her talent to make her quite successful, with new employees hired and offices opening in Rome, Tokyo, and Paris.

• She's had run-ins with serial killers, superpowered assassins, corporate criminals, and costumed vigilantes, and acted as a bodyguard, courier and insurance investigator.

• Her teenaged little brother Ricky, male secretary Mad Dog (no joke), NYPD Detective Amos Culhane, and others have all helped her out in her adventures over the years.
