Character Details

His early life is mostly unknown. His mother died of cancer while he was young and his father was physically abusive. Wade was a deliquint in his teenage years, possibly to spite his father. However one night while drinking with his friends his father attempt to take him out of the club one of his friends stole Wade's Fathers handgun and killed him.
After a short stint in the US Army Special Forces, he became a mercenary, but he only killed those he felt deserved it. He wasn't the best shot, so when he failed, he routinely used plastic surgery and technology to take on a new identity.
Once, when Jack was injured while escaping from his angry employers, he was taken in by Wade and Mercedes Wilson, who nursed him back to health. Jack eventually attacked Wade, hoping to steal his identity, and left him for dead, but accidentally killed Mercedes as well. Murdering the innocent Mercedes completely unhinged Jack's already unstable personality and he became convinced that he was Wade Wilson. He returned to his mercenary activities under that name.
"Wilson's" early mercenary activities are relatively unknown, but it is clear that after a failed romance in Tangier, Morocco, with a woman named Francie, he traveled across Asia and eventually was hired in Japan by the Boss to infiltrate a sumo-wrestling ring owned by the Oyakata, a rival. For three years Wilson posed as a wrestler became romantically involved with Oyakata's daughter, Sazae. When the Boss finally ordered the Oyakata's murder, Wilson refused to complete his assignment and fled Japan.
Returning to America, Wilson fell in love with Vanessa Carlysle, a teenage prostitute, with whom he shared dreams of a better life. Soon, Middle Eastern interests hired him to assassinate a blind British government operative named Althea, also known as Blind Al. Wilson killed everyone at the base except for Al, who escaped. Vanessa was targeted by Wilson's employers as punishment for failure, but she was rescued by Zoe Culloden, an employee of the interdimensional firm Landau, Luckman, Lake, and LeQuare. Culloden had been keeping Wilson under surveillance, believing he was destined to play a vital role in saving the world, based on some prophecies her firm had accessed.
When this mercenary of extraordinariness and eater of dough nuts Wade Wilson contracted cancer he went a little nuts. He signed on for Canada's (known as Department-K) Weapon-X program he was given an experimental treatment menu to imitate Wolverine's healing factor. He was cured of cancer but he could not become the hero that Weapon-X was supposed to make him. So he was sent to a secret facility for hero factory wash-outs. Wanting only to die and rid himself of the pain he gained a good friend namely a cyborg named Worm. When he encountered the being named Death, who he found to be the best reason to die, he tried more furiously to end his life. His plan: mock the much stronger, much faster much more twisted supervisor of the wash-outs known as The Attending or as Wade often mocked him with his real name: Francis. In the end his mocking wasn't what killed him. Worm was lobotomized for Wilson's actions who had quickly broken his friends neck so as to give him peace. Finally finding a reason to kill Wade he took the chance and ripped out his heart but because of his healing factor, the hatred for francis and a thirst for vengeance he was not allowed to die. Charging out to meet Francis he shoved two automatic rifles taken from some guards who now could look the other way about all this, into The Attending's gut and splattered his spleen. Proclaiming that Wade Wilson was now dead he then became Deadpool though it did cost him what was left of his sanity.
Deadpool then served for a time as an enforcer for the crime boss Hammerhead. Returning to his freelance mercenary activities afterwards, he made costume for himself and his "secret identity." He was employed during this period by the Kingpin, and also clashed with Wolverine, who was at that time a spy for the Canadian government. Deadpool caught up with Blind Al and imprisoned her in his home. Deadpool killed anyone whom Al sought for help, and eventually she stopped trying to escape.
After some years after escaping the Hospice, Deadpool, perhaps seeking compensation for the injuries inflicted upon him by Killebrew, returned to the Canadian government and was treated by Doctor Walter Langkowski (Sasquatch) He also acquired a teleporter around this time. Deadpool soon found government work unsuited to his temperament. and he was hired by the criminal Wizard, but first he went to the wrong address and got a job impersonating the criminal Hobgoblin. Eventually he joined with fellow criminals the Taskmaster and the Constrictor in a brief version of the Frightful Four. Deadpool then tried to return to being the Kingpin's assassin, but he was thwarted by the new assassin, Bullseye.
Deadpool began frequenting the mercenary hangout called the Hellhouse, where the diminutive Patch issued assignments. There he clashed with T-Ray, a voodoo-sorcerer a sorcerer and assassin to whom he took an immediate dislike. He subsequently found employment with the time-traveling arms merchant Tolliver, in whose service he was reunited with Sluggo and Copycat. Unbeknownst to Deadpool, Tolliver subsequently sent Copycat to impersonate another mutant mercenary, Domino. Deadpool also recruited a man named Weasel to act as his weapon supplier, and the two became fast fast friends, despite numerous acts of violence against him.
After cementing his reputation as a solider of fortune and quasi-super hero, Deadpool signed on the dotted line for the terrorist known as Tolliver. His target: the time-tossed mutant freedom fighter called Cable. Deadpool learned that his former lover — Vanessa Carlyle, the shapeshifter named Copycat — was posing as Cable's girlfriend and teammate, the probability-altering Domino. Wilson launched repeated offensives against Cable and his mutant strike team, X-Force.
