Character Details

History

1) - Oldest son of a large family in Kentucky - admitted into college on scholarship (science related) but never allowed the opportunity. Took up working in mine to support family after death of his father.
2) - Age 18, powers manifest in mine collapse, saves a co-worker/friend of his deceased father.
3) Located by Donald Pierce, hired on as mercenary. Fights Xavier's New Mutants and learning errors of his way he joins this new outfit as one of its original roster members.
4)Acts as co-leader of New Mutants during his tenure. Has a romantic relationship with intergalactic rock star Lila Cheney. Serves under Xavier and later Magneto in Xavier's absences. Decides eventually with his co-leader that they don't want to work for Magneto and the term works solo for a while.
5) Team merges with X-Terminators, included Tabitha Smith aka Boom Boom. During these years, there is some flirtations in their friendship and they continue to have an off/on flirtation with hints of a possible romance. This has not been confirmed and they never official date.
6) Most recently, the New Mutants have fallen under the tutelage and have transformed into X-Force. This team is billing itself something of a pre-emptive strike-force on behalf of the X groups under Xavier and others. Doing the things that others don't want to do because of their images and the sensitivity of the activies themselves.
